Yonis: This is perhaps one of the most complex works I have made in my art career. It stems from a reflection about my own origins, my Latin American heritage and my being in the world. It questions my own transit in the menopause, a phase in women's life where sensuality reaches another level. By working with flowers and the cycle of life, textiles and memories, I tried to capture the sensual, the erotic and the joy of this new stage of my life.
