In this poignant time when women all over the world are rising to make their voices heard, for so many reasons, not least for control over their own bodies, control over their own minds, to highlight inequalities and injustices, this piece explores what it means to be a woman, what is means to the artist, who still works within an art world dominated by men.
This piece is created with oil paint and varnish washes, creating an almost ethereal quality.
