I work predominately with willow, a wonderfully tactile and versatile material which enables me to create work of diverse scale and style. For the last 8 years I have been maintaining about a acre of land from which I coppice the majority of the willow that I use in my sculptures. I enjoy using the withies and rods to make figurative sculptures, striving constantly for greater accuracy and precision whilst creating each piece.

Having studied Archaeology my work is influenced by the past, from the written histories and the structural remains prominent in our landscape to the myths and legends past down over the generations.
