I graduated in Fine Art from University College Falmouth in 2002, and since then have been a professional selling artist. My recent work embodies energies we feel but cannot see; change and transformation, moments out of time, inner visions. Through my process of translucent layered oils, I express the transformative flow of these energies.
I have always had at the back of my mind a near-death experience from many years ago. I re-capture through the creative process, the bliss and light of that experience.
Daily meditation and the coastal landscape of Cornwall where I live, feed into my process-based work. I paint from the heart. |
