Born in 1994, Bobby is graduated from Visual Arts & Culture of Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), focusing on dissimilar media included installation, performance, audio, text and photography. She likes doing experiment based on her daily-life observation of "abnormal beings". Inspired by Sophie Calle, peeping and sexuality are Bobby's favorite creative themes.
Bobby also designs handmade books. Her works have already been exhibited in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan. Her first book ‘Youth’ (2012), exploring the definition of youth and everyday life, was once invited to participate in the 7th YMCArt Book Fair and published in Hong Kong bookstores. Invited by ArtExperience HK Gallery, 'Youth’ was also exhibited in the ‘First Smash’ Group Show in 2013. Then, she joint ‘Eggwich’ which is Hong Kong press publisher.
Bobby is awarded Best Actress in the Golden Sugarcane Film Festival and is attended art residency program organized by 435 Art Studio in Taiwan. Now her new work ‘Pillow Talk’ is exhibiting and selling on Ec Gallery. “Pillow Talk” derives from her imagination on daily life, creating a blurred situation for the “private and public”, “real and fictional” and “subject and object” to take place. This allows people to discover surprising communicative methods and relationships.
