Born in Sopot, Poland, but lives in the UK since 1981 (British Citizen since 1990).
From early years she was interested in art and frequented art workshops organised by artists associations in Sopot. Painting regularly since childhood she took part in many art competitions and won, among others, countrywide competition for a painting, which represented Poland in international exhibition in India. She also won three times an art competition organised by Polish National Bank. She was due to embark to study fine art in Gdansk Art Academy in 1981, however due to Marshal Law she stayed in the UK. She finished Law Degree in London instead, but never stopped creating. In 1993 she won the best promotion design for Virgin Atlantic competition.
In 2005 she completed Curating Art course at Central St Martin's in London.
She moved to beautiful Westerham with her husband (also an artist) in 2007.
