This work, created by using ribbon to form the rose petals, delves into the dialogue between self-actualization and the sexual subtleties of being a woman in today’s world. It is evocative of female genitalia covered in sheer layers of social norms and expectations. I use repetition to communicate and explore the symbolism of eternal beauty.
