This is the first of a series of exhibition pictures - The colours and Contrasts of India. I was asked to produce the series after completing this picture last year. With this personal style of photomontage I intend the multi-layered pictures of India to show a sensitivity to the life and culture of the country, but with total acceptance of realism and absence of sentimentality.
