I am a figurative artist. The figure enables me to comment on the history of the
human race and on relationships between people or with our own body. I often
work in black clay and porcelain because these two clays symbolise the yin and
yang as much as in their colour as in their qualities; however the choice of
clay and colour is made in accordance with the subject matter.
I am very interested in art therapy and as a result my work is very intimate. I usually work on series that tell a story or develop a theme. I rarely use moulds, I hand build which makes each piece unique.
