Fionn Wilson (b. South Shields, 1972) is a London-based figurative artist. She has been painting for five years and is self taught.

She is an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and an elected member of the National Society of Painters, Sculptors and Printmakers and exhibits twice annually at the Menier Gallery as part of their exhibitions programme. She has recently exhibited at the annual open exhibition of the Royal Society of British Artists at the Mall Galleries. In 2016 she was selected for the Royal Scottish Academy summer exhibition, the Enniskillen Visual Arts Open and the National Open Art finalists exhibition. Her portrait of former RMT general secretary Bob Crow was recently acquired by the Marx Memorial Library as part of its collection and will be on permanent display in the lecture hall at Clerkenwell Green. Her painting 'Marilyn (angel of light)' has been selected to be part of the Priseman-Seabrook collection of 21st Century British Painting, the only art collection in the UK dedicated to painting produced in Britain after the year 2000. She has exhibited widely throughout the UK and was a judge’s favourite in the International Women’s Erotic Art competition, 2013.

Her painting 'Building on Fire' has been preselected for this year's RA Summer Exhibition. In January of this year she was elected to sit on the Council of the National Society of Painters, Sculptors and Printmakers.

From 2012 – 2013 she set up and ran the not-for-profit SPACE art gallery in Southgate, London, in a disused bank where she curated and hung seven exhibitons. She also created and runs the Creative Collective for Refugee Relief, which sells donated artworks via Facebook in aid of Syria Relief Charity. She is a co-founder of the Venus Award for erotic art.

She is currently painting for, and curating, an exhibition of 14 women artists around the theme of sixties icon Christine Keeler. She recently painted for, and curated, an exhibition of 14 women artists examining sexuality and sensuality via self portraiture. She will be exhibiting six portraits of Danish composer Gunnar Berg in Copenhagen’s ‘Metronomen’ (date to be confirmed). She is delighted to be currently painting the portrait of Labour MP Dennis Skinner.

Her work is in private collections in the US, Canada, Russia, Europe and Australia.

Unless stated, all work is heavy body acrylic on canvas/board.
