This piece, the title piece from the exhibition “Sirens of my Relief” explores past events, feelings, memories, grief or joy the painting reveals something of the artists life, this feminine portrait becomes a self portrait, and a reflection. Though each is a comment on femininity, the roles women play in the world, or are expected to play and a comment on how women can feel trapped within these roles. 60x80cm, created with Oil paints and varnish washes on canvas.
