One of a series looking at maternal loss & personal commemoration, collaging imagery from family archives. The piece uses acrylic & watercolour paints on canvas. The paisley elements were chosen as they were my Mum's favourite print. I started the series when my Mother was still here; they are a follow-on from work on a Victorian Archive series of family studio portraits looking at female historical representation I started a few years ago....
