Im overwhelmed on a regular basis by the volume of noise on Instagram .How do you find it ?
It seems to be the stomping ground for those of a certain disposition /mindset and the fortunate ability to negotiate between the furory therein . Instagram for us artists has way too much on offer for us artists to purchase as in the case of courses and endless gallery and magazine submissions .
I feel brutalised {that is putting it rather strongly} but yes It does offend my sensibilities and leaves me a little bruised .Im not the most robust ,self assured artistic lifetimer .My brain dosent do very well when bombarded .If I'm sure of one thing about my precious "identity"which gets more fragile by the day flagged all over the weird market place screaming for it as I scroll myself to sleep,is that I never expected to make money from my artwork ,of course I would like to make some ,and now and again thankfully I do.
It really hurts my heart and head to see and feel like the world ,my world ,the world of gentle generous souls who long to be seen and felt,unable to navigate and forced to tackle, this crazed onslought ,this meta madness.
