Two Tidal Figures

Marble on sapele base, female figure H7.5cm, male H12cm, base 25 x 29cm.

I sat on a rocky beach, with my back to the sea, focusing on the sound of the tide and drew the figure which came off the pen - the female (front) figure. I then developed a complementary male figure.
