Inspired by images of "curiosities" this piece was a bridge between my previous romantic body of work which focused on existential anxieties affecting us all like climate change and change in general , and my own curiosity about earlier times . The pangolin is so gentle I feel that we are not unlike the gentle creature . We all have a pangolin within which I would wish to see embraced and nurtured.
. It was exhibited as an addition to the solo show WILD-REWILD-REPEAT which had been shut down due to the pandemic on March 15th2020 and relaunched in June 2021
