this painting was inspired by a vision of rural farmland where dwells a woman who hears a train in the distance that could bring someone to her or she could fulfill a longing to be taken away somewhere or it could be something that could plough its way across the landscape devastating the peace beauty and stillness of the countryside.There is an anxiety there , a fearfulndess of change ,the unknown ,the possible ,existential anxiety.
